Lead free alloys (ROHS)
Our differents lead free alloys
Directive 2002/95 EC (ROHS), concerning the restriction of dangerous substances such as lead and cadmium in electronics and electrical equipment, has been applied since 1st July 2006.

FRANSOR INDUSTRIE is at your service to advice you on the composition of substitute alloys. Obviously, we can also supply these new alloys and offer you special machining services.
These lead free alloys are already available :

1)Tree-metal alloys :
• Sn/Ag/Cu
Example Sn/Ag(3.5-3.8)/Cu(0.7-1) Melting point around 217°C(E) standard recognized alloys

2)Two-metal alloys :

• SnAg :
Example Sn96.5Ag Melting point around 221°C (E) classic Alloy
• SnCu :
Example Sn97Cu Melting point around 230-250°C For use in plumbing
• SnSb :
Example Sn95Sb Melting point around 230-240°C Very good mechanical properties

Other tin-based alloys incorporating elements such as nickel, bismuth, aluminium, indium or zinc can also be supplied to order.
